Human biology, specifically brain neural network captivated my interest in my early studies,
and in 2001 I joined Neuroprosthetic project at Andersen Lab
to develop a prosthetic system to record the electrical activity of nerve cells in the posterior parietal cortex of paralysed patients.
At Andersen Lab we interpreted the primates intentions from these neural signals using Dekker's and other algorithms,
and converting the decoded plans into electric control signals to operate external devices such as a robot arm,
or a computer. I had the opportunity to work and learn from the world's best neuroscientists.
